Welcome to the Andrews Inorganic Materials Lab
In the Andrews Lab, we make inorganic, porous, and solid-state materials for applications ranging from biomimetic computing to energy storage and desalination

Lab Vision: We aim to develop new inorganic and solid-state materials-based approaches to addressing some of the defining challenges of our generation related to sustainability, the energy transition, and access to natural resources.
Lab Mission: We aim to unravel the fundamental mechanisms and dynamics of ion and electron transport in porous and solid-state materials and to further exploit this knowledge toward the design of new materials and devices.
